Briley Genealogy

  Since I have taken such a long break from actually working on my genealogy, I have some very basic goals for this new year.  I have 4 goals this year: Organize, organize, organize!  I need to get back into the nitty gritty of my paperwork and remember the exact things I am looking for and where I left off.  I also want to switch genealogy programs, and may just manually enter as much as I can from my paperwork before importing my research GEDCOM.  Which leads me to my second goal - Digitize, digitize, digitize!  I have a DVD burner and a scanner, use them!  It is much easier to look up digitized information and share it than it is to dig through tons of paper, that ages and collects dust.  It is also easier to carry DVD’s … Read entire article »
