Resolution to organize update
I have been busy this past week, so be on the lookout for more posting next week. I have been cleaning out the genealogy storage and hope to begin digitizing records and pictures tonight. I figure digitizing will take me a good 40 hours of work, getting quicker as I learn the process. I have quite a few Pitt County, NC land records to digitize. I think I have more than a few duplicates. I have some good Briley pictures to digitize, some of our Briley family cemetery, so I will be looking at forming a Flikr group to privately share these photos. 2010 Genealogy Goals
Since I have taken such a long break from actually working on my genealogy, I have some very basic goals for this new year. I have 4 goals this year: Organize, organize, organize! I need to get back into the nitty gritty of my paperwork and remember the exact things I am looking for and where I left off. I also want to switch genealogy programs, and may just manually enter as much as I can from my paperwork before importing my research GEDCOM. Which leads me to my second goal - Digitize, digitize, digitize! I have a DVD burner and a scanner, use them!
